Bus Students

Transportation arrangements by school bus must be made through the Pembina Trails School Division

Transportation Dept. The department can be reached by telephone at 488-1757. Should you need to change bus arrangements for a particular day (for example, if your child is absent), call King Transportation at 257-0696.

Please discuss bus safety with your child. Also please reinforce that students must not start walking home if they miss the bus. They should immediately report to the office where someone will help them get home safely.

You may wish to note that students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 are walked to their bus. Students in Grades 2-8 are dismissed from their classroom and are expected to make their way to their bus promptly. Students who have made alternate arrangements for after school are asked to inform their driver before leaving the school grounds.

Buses are cancelled if the temperature or wind chill drops to -45 degrees between 5:30 and 6:30 am. The decision to cancel buses is made by the Superintendent. In the event that buses are cancelled they will remain cancelled for the entire day regardless of any changes in temperature. You can confirm that buses are cancelled by visiting our Advisory site.
